And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinths of coral caves
An echo of a distant time

She sure is purdy! I have a weakness for shinny curvy copper and stainless. I think I am in love!

Oakie, I have a retainer ring welded at the bottom of the 12" spool above the thumper to hold a copper screen that scrubbers will sit on. Doing a vinegar run as we speak. Never been around a thumper before. It's cool to hear this thing come online.

Thanks Squatch. I'm kinda proud of it. It's just gurgling along right now. Have to get a sacrificial run fermenting to get an idea how it will go in the real world.

Beautiful!
And I like the wheels under it! I think that is one of the best inventions in the history of mankind!
I suppose you use electric heating.

Kar, I do use electric. On this pot I added a port for a second element to get things started faster.

Have a number of gallons of feints I am thinking of diluting to do a sac run on this thing. What volume charge is acceptable for a sac run. Have no problem using some of the feints I have (bout 13 gals). Just figure there is no sense in wasting if I don't need to.

Thanks.
