Would it be safe to say you can strip in an all stainless system without copper scrubbers then use them in the spirit run and you will be ok?
For an AG malt whisky.

I'm a lazy ass, and fill my 15+ gallon keg with 15 gallons regularly.. If I forget to add the Fermcap.. Holey 20L of puke batman.. The copper scrubbies are nice enough to save it up for me sometimes and deliver it all in a few seconds..

Yeah. If you're filling the boiler all the way up, don't forget the fermcap on the strip. Not needed for the spirit run, but essential for the strip.

I do if I'm making flavored spirits. I run flat out to draw as much flavour out of the wash as possible. For vodka I slow it down and do a basic spirit run of sorts.

I run a strip as hard as I can until I get a bit of puke going then back it down. The spirit run will clear things up. The last strip run I did, I stuck a single plate bubble ball section on with no reflux. The foam came up and filled the plate with wash, the abv increased a bit and it kept the foaming more under control. It also gave me a sight glass to see it I was going to get it too high. Made for a faster better stripping run though. I will be experimenting with the single plate strips more going forward.

I wouldn't bother with drilling and putting in a prv. More work and something else with a small orifice that could clog. Just put on a gasket and endcap with a couple of pounds on it. Easy and very safe.
