Threads of Note

I would expect this topic to have multiple posts by the same person showing us how to do something. If there are pictures, let pint_o_shine know and he can host them for you.

Punkin, or anyone else, a bit of technical assistance, please.

I'm still a klutz with respect to this forum's software, and am unable to perform some basic tasks. Normally, when I see something like DixieDrifter's coil-winding post, that I'd like very much to have for later access, I'd save, or send to the real me (to save), or grab the html and images, or just create a link (I see those URL's now) or something, but I have no idea how you guys normally manage your posts.

Reading new posts seems awkward, and I'm sure I'm doing it wrong, but can anyone point me information dealing with saving or recovering selected valuable posts. The term "parking place" implies some sort of system, but Macs alwasy kept thier fonts in the "suitcase" and that never helped me either.

You can make whisky in a reflux still, you can make vodka in a potstill,
and you can eat chicken noodle soup with a crescent wrench. But...

You can BookMark a Thread...

Above the first post in a thread and on the left hand side there is a button you can click that will allow you to bookmark that thread.

You can view you bookmarks through the user control panel. Click on Manage Bookmarks from the main menu to see your bookmarks.
Your results may vary..
