Music I listen to while running my still

Please be kind to others. Personal preference just is. There is no right or wrong.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good
as they're going to feel all day.

Good fortune takes preparation.

I listen to Allman Brothers Band a lot while distilling but also Old Crow MEdicine SHow, Howlin' Wolf, T-Bone Walker and sometimes a bit of Duane Allman's solo stuff.
There is no failure, only an increasing gradient in the learning curve. Nothing worth doing comes easy.

The recent Pussy Riot kerfuffle led me off on a nostalgic and philosophical detour . A search for my roots you might say .

to paraphrase
"Why would anybody wanna thpend hourths and hourths juth to make a gallon and a half of boothe when you can buy it in a sthtore ?"
"Well let me run it down for ya ....."

Was watching this channel on youtube for Dave Hum. Quite unique style - partly a result of his having lost part of a finger from blood/bone cancer. Had to re-learn after that.... My new favorite 5string player is a Brit!

There used to be a guy that sold Baldwin fun machines in the late seventies at Padre Staples mall in Corpus Christi Texas . He had but three fingers on each hand and they were arranged in various configurations and gnarled from using them for decades in ways they were not designed for . That man would rattle those keys like Pinetop Perkins or Jerry Lee all day long . Bet he sold a lot of pianos too . Almost sold one to my mom . Thankfully not !

Brewing rather than stilling, but have the tearjerkers on.

I'm not running but am working on the stillhouse buildout. Does that count?

Punkin, looks like you are a Floyd fan. So am I. Love to kick back with a few drinks and watch the original version of Live at Pompeii from time to time. Great stuff.
Overhead the albatross
Hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinths of coral caves
An echo of a distant time
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine
