Anyone hear from Mud lately?

Postby Pa_bon » Tue Nov 07, 2017 2:10 pm

Haven't heard from him since July during a back and forth that was never finished. Hope all is ok with him.
Overhead the albatross
Hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinths of coral caves
An echo of a distant time
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine

He is still kicking just fine, he has been working long hours is all.

Drank all night and I am still thirsty!
But I don't feel like I got to much blood in my alcyhol.

Hey Pa_bon. I'm still alive. Back in April I quit working with Artisan Still Design and refocused on construction. It's going well but is demanding. All consuming, really.

Good news. Just today I broke ground on a new shed. It's got water, electric and dedicated space for a mash tun and still.

Good to know you are well, Mud. Life does have a way of crowding out time for hobbies. Your new shed sounds great.

Thanks sir. I sold my old place, including the still room so haven't even had space to brew beer. Sugarcreek sent me a 30 gallon kettle a while back so brew in a bag is on the agenda, too. It's exciting stuff.

Brew in a bag looks like a practical way to go.

Rumour has it that Bill got wind of the slipping under the back of the tent trick and has put logs all round the base of the tent. Can't see either Mud or Dum getting in now.

I still got it.

Mud is definitely not as funny as he used to be.

We'll burrow in while Bill is working on his wardrobe. It takes some effort to look that homeless.

Mini! It's nice to see you around again.

Punkin, I'm definitely not much fun anymore. You, however, are just as handsome and charming as ever.

The shed foundation is poured. Power and water are stubbed. Framing will start when there's downtime between jobs. Hopefully soon.
