I heard one still manufacturer/fuel ethanol distiller say he's used salt (sodium chloride, I assume) to dry his ethanol fuel. I'd be worried about pushing that through my fuel injection system, though.

You can make whisky in a reflux still, you can make vodka in a potstill,
and you can eat chicken noodle soup with a crescent wrench. But...

Industrial scale production facilities use what's called a molecular sieve. It's a large apparatus that contains hygroscopic resin beads. They absorb the water out of the ethanol, and must be reactivated after a certain period of time.

ebay has it in many forms. You want the pure mineral zeolite stone.........which is pretty cheap. You realize without a stabilizer, or kept in an airtight container it will re-absorb water from the atmosphere..........

This is the stuff used by many of the fuel ethanol plants I have visited.
3a-03 can be vacuum dehydrated or heated to 230C to dry it.

Distill safe. Make good cuts. Enjoy yourself. Give as much as you take. Have fun doing this incredibly hard work. Be a good example. It's your hobby.
