Here is the place to say hello to our newest member.

All new users are confined to this section. In order to be promoted out of the Novice and into the regular Distiller, you have to demonstrate maturity, a certain level of distilling and fermenting knowledge. You must also prove that you are helpful to others and not have a propensity toward bad attitude.
You will be promoted out of this section once the demonstration is complete. I hope these goals are enough to allow you to grow out of the Novice Distillers.

Pretty new in this, only been running my first VM for a year. Got help with a lot of invented wheels from Swedish forums and now hoping to find more of them here too. :)

So that is how you uphold the law?
Welcome, you can certainly find some wheels here: let's roll or in other words: volvo.

Equipment type: 2.0" LM and a 2.0" CM with external RC coil. 1 keg boiler all electric, and a 20 gallon boiler ran on propane or electric.

Thank you, does it mean I am already promoted?

I don't have anything to show off with but I could share the little I have in hope of getting a lot of useful comments and help for improvements from all the professionals in here. But maybe my level is too trivial ...

Yes it means you are promoted to access the whole forums. If you are anything like myself most of your questions will still be posted in the new users forums.

Open your photo in MS Paint, tick maintainn ratio and change the largest pixel number to 800.

Do a "save as"

Then use the "upload attachment attachment" tab below to upload it.

Bit of a clat but it works ok :8)

We are not professionals. We are deeply erudite amateurs. Professionals - they in white helmets control the columns with a height of 30 meters.
You have a very good valve bolted on the apparatus. Do you want to attach a steam horn to it? (such associations arose with my wife when she considered the photo)
---
And by the way! A good moonshiner should wear a denim overall on a naked body (in the USA) or a quilted jacket (in Russia)

Well, it IS kind of a steam horn, isn't it? My first VM arm with a 3/4" gate valve. Barely open at 1,5 L/h so now building a new arm with 15 mm outlet with 1/2" valve.

Ops, so I have to invest in clothing too. Wonder what I should go for? This hobby will be more expensive than I expected
