Absolutely shattered, i'd had to take this out for my heart surgery and mustn't have clicked the sleeper shut properly. The only upside was that i was already home when the Bourbon Girl noticed the sleeper hanging open and my fare across the river missing. :(

That was three weeks ago.

I just found it yesterday in my draw where my shorts go, i picked up a pair of swimmers and heard a clunk on the bottom of the wooden drwaer and new straight away what it was... :8)

Only thing i can think of is that i was standing in front of the dresser when it dropped, i'd thought it was gone forever.

Obol or Danake might be another word
for your jewel, depending on your customs.
What ever you call it, I think its pretty cool :rkn:

Cheron's obol came to mind when I saw it.

+1 had to google viaticum. Cherons obol seems appropriate. Never gave it much thought. Gonna have to hang me a coin on my chain now. Very cool stuff punkin.

Cherons obol it is thank you for the phrase. I have the coin able to be broken into quarters with the words Ferryman on one half and Gatekeeper on the other. My family know it's to be placed in my mouth before cremation, i just never knew the whole story before.

No pics please. :mg:

Yes, they had a fair dinkum go.

Which was good as it meant the used internal stitching and superglue instead of just going to town with the staple gun like they did on my leg where they took the vien and they did on the other patients chests. Probably took em an extra hour but i have a pretty scar.

You sure no pictures? :roflmao:

Hell I'd like to see it.
Had a pard that had a LARGE tat of a Ford blue oval across his chest,
think 20in X 12in with DO NOT ENBALM under it in 3in block letters.
They did an alright job of putting in back together at the top and got
the word Ford back in line, but the bottom of the oval was about an
inch longer at the bottom on the left side.
He was 5ft 5in 400lbs and full on shit in a good way.
He was a good man,I miss him.
RIP Walt
