I have not seen any copper corrosion yet.
So a lot of questions arose in me.

But why would you plate with nickel? I know in the EU copper for food vessels is only allowed if it is soundly plated with tin.

Is the plating on the inside or the outside?

But as I am always curious for new information, I would like to see what you did. Especially if it is difficult.

We'll it's not difficult *once you know how to do it properly*. But if it's no use then I wont bother.

Mine is about 12 years old a no problems yet. Are you corroding on the cooling side (maybe your water is a problem)
If it's corroding on the condensing side I can't imagine what would cause that. There is zero deterioration on mine.
