After years of owning a Dash 1.0

I had struggled to find the ever elusive keg. I struggle at times, when I would see kegs galore in my area I had no money to spend on them. When I had the money no kegs to be found. Well I didn't have the money for them but they landed in my lap for the right price......free.

I been trying to figure out the cleaning run on a 15.5 gallon keg and a Dash 1, how much water, how much vinegar would be best for first cleaning run?

Don't need a cleaning run on your Dash, that's for solder residue. Just give it a god wash in soapy water to remove any machine oils and a rinse.

I think I need it more for the keg than anything else, I can take the Dash apart all but the dephlag and condenser. Looking through manual say half fill keg and 2l of vinegar.

BTW I am the dumb ass that had tightened lenses too tight and cracked them before  , cleaning run would allow me to check for leaks, make sure my lenses are tight enough, I am a bit gun shy about tightening them :mg: I will do it and then a bit of wine....

About week out now, going to do cleaning run in next couple days. Run some wine through and then some UJSSM.
