Vision Stills

These are boilers with half columns, bubble, sieve or any other plates. These stills may make a particular type of spirits. Please feel free to discuss the benefits and features of these beautiful machines and their inventive builders.

Has anyone looked at or used the 4" Bubble Plate Phoenix Vision? Price looks pretty good. Thoughts, comments, opinions.... Thanks.
Overhead the albatross
Hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinths of coral caves
An echo of a distant time
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine

Relatively inexpensive. Made in China.

Might be blacklisted here, I dunno...

I've never been near a vision still so can't comment on that. But nothing is blacklisted here except what's in the rules.

Woo-hoo!

I've bought some components from them. Finish was good, price was better.

The owner ruffled some feathers on different forums over the years, couldn't remember if this was one of them :)

I'm used to tiptoe-ing around on forums. Don't know how to deal with all this thick skin.

We all got thick skins around here, it's the thin skinned ones you have to worry about. :P

Cheers.

Rule #5 concerns business dealings. We all know there is a lot of history between various people on the forums. None of it needs to be rehashed here. So let's just stick to the products, not the people.

Looked at them and from what I saw they aren't big on propane or pot stills.

Was curious about the glass bubble plate colum. Price seems pretty good.

When I ordered components from their site, they were quick to email me about an item out of stock and offer an alternative.
Quick processing and shipping.
It's a great price on their glass columns.

I definitely recommend trying them out. Only reason I didn't buy the full setup is because I wanted to build my own.

Well I like their prices on the $20 3" sight glass kits, I might have to get me a set of those. I had a leak using tri clamps and didn't dare try to tighten it more, due to cracking 3 lenses.
